Bellevue Observatory

Most of RASC Montreal Centre’s public and members-only events are held at the Bellevue Observatory, located in Saint-Anne-de-Bellevue (Montreal) at McGill University’s Morgan Arboretum .

This site benefits from the darkest skies on the island of Montreal.

The Observatory houses a 14″ LX200 Meade SCT and includes room for people to bring their own equipment to set up around the Observatory.

With ample parking and washroom facilities on site, it is the ideal location to bring the family and come enjoy the night under the stars.

The Bellevue Observatory is also home to our clubhouse, where we often host Presentations and have refreshments while we wait for the sky to darken.
