Dr. David Levy
A Lifetime of Eclipses…
Montreal born and long time RSC Montreal Centre Member as well as Honorary President, Dr. David Levy will present a lecture on his personal experience that spans many decades of astronomical observations of both lunar and solar eclipses. His first was on October 2, 1959 and culminating with his 90th this past August with the solar eclipse.
Dr. Levy is Canada’s foremost comet hunter include the infamous Shoemaker-Levy Comet amongst the 22 comets to his credit. Dr. Levy has also authored 34 books plus numerous articles.
