Dr. Holder will discuss the concept of “The mm-wave universe”, cosmic microwave background studies, mapping dark matter over 2500 square degrees, strong gravtiational lenses, galaxy clusters and other new insights from his research using the South Polar Telescope.
Weather permitting after the lecture, we can open the observatory for some ‘eyeball’ views for you.
